Wish I could take you everywhere with me. See you on Friday @dillbillymusic 💗 Welp, I can share this news publicly now. The Tuesday after I arrived in Paris I was told that Faith in Public Life will be ending their work in harm reduction and public safety transformation in order to focus on other issue areas. I feared this was coming but didn't expect things to happen so quickly. Sadly this means that the work that my beloved colleague @iampaisha and I have been doing is ending. I had the option to continue working with the org but the new focus and approach FPL is pursuing is, very sadly, not in line with my own political compass. My last day will be May 27th. Heading to Taizé for a week long pilgrimage. Silence, song, prayer. I'm nervous but ready. See you on the other side. Proud to be a member of this church and this ministry! Last week I got to chat with @pastorkelseyb about Easter. Check it out! #LinkInBio The couple that votes together, fights fascists together. Primaries are important people, be sure to #Vote Easter is not just a day, it is a season. A season where we recommit to resurrecting our own spirits, along with our communities. Last week I got to talk with @chanelle_gallant about the lectionary text for Easter Sunday and it brought me so much joy. This is the sort of ministry I want to be part of. Listen in, we had alot of fun. #LinkInBio An Easter snapshot: flowers, baskets, church with the right kind of people, a trip to urgent care, brunch with the loveliest friends, this years Easter eggs, a resurrection manual, and a very dapper gentleman. Thank you @dillbillymusic, @unitedchurchofgranville, @elainabueno, Chris, and Birdy for supporting the resurrection of my spirit today and everyday. 🌷💛🌷 Tonight in the Christian calendar we mourn a man who was murdered because he dared to believe that God’s people deserved more than empire. More dignity, more food, more healing, more justice.
